Trained as a computer scientist, Philipp's the one who actually knows what he's doing.
He can also tell you a thing or two about video coding from his previous company (vicommerce.com) and practical as he is, he never used any of Zouhair's codecs.
If you're looking for a way to distract him, just start talking about sailing, and racing 18-ft skiffs. He'll talk your ear off.
Philipp is Bavarian, drinks beer and has never missed a day of Oktoberfest in his life.

Skills & Requirements
Code speaks stronger than degrees.
- You have a strong understanding of computer science
- Programming experience in at least two languages
- Object oriented programming knowledge
- Knowledge about multi threading and coding with runtime efficiency in mind
- You know the tools around programming to be an efficient coder
- You get excited about new technologies
- You like learning
- Must be legally able to work in the US
Bonus, not necessary:
- You have experience in building mobile apps iOS/Android that are in the app stores.
- You have experience working in Java
- You know what it takes to scale a system to millions of users
